The gaps belong
on the page.
Cleanview is our benchmark. We have not reached its coverage or demonstrated comparable accuracy.
Building identity review
118 building identities have passed the current source and duplicate review. The benchmark requires at least 3,454 comparable records. The independent audit and coverage target remain incomplete.
127 dated image crops have assistant observations. These reviews document visible roofs and construction signs, and do not verify that a facility is operating. Download observations or inspect the coverage checks.
How complete are the fields?
Each percentage uses its own dataset as the denominator. InfraMap includes mixed building, campus, and facility objects. Cleanview's public table is the reference target. A filled field does not prove that the value is correct. Cleanview's operation-year field includes actual and expected dates. Our comparison includes both, while each record labels planned dates separately.
| Field | InfraMap | Cleanview | InfraMap records with value |

| Actual or planned opening year | 71.9% | 2 / 1,792 | |
| Total facility power | 88.8% | 0 / 1,792 | |
| IT capacity | 75.5% | 1 / 1,792 | |
| Building floor area | 81.2% | 0 / 1,792 | |

What the current release does establish
Source links, stable source identities, original data center tags, geometry, and county attribution. The map includes 1,546 footprints explicitly tagged as buildings. Nearby unclassified buildings do not become data centers automatically.
What remains to establish
- Cross-source identity matches and campus-to-building relationships.
- Public filings for planned facilities across all 50 states.
- Reported IT and total facility power at a consistent building or phase level.
- Dated imagery review, with construction stage distinct from operating status.
- A stratified accuracy audit and recall checks against independent inventories.
Release criteria for a verified inventory
Every published claim needs field-level evidence and an effective date. Every merge needs an identifier, a matching address plus corroborating evidence, or a recorded review. Before claiming comparable accuracy, audit a stratified random sample of at least 200 records, report the error types and confidence intervals, and resolve material location, identity and status errors.
For field completeness, meet or exceed the reference rates on a matched building-level population. Publish the matched denominator and unmatched records. An empty field stays empty; estimated PUE and backup generator ratings do not fill reported facility-power fields.
